A company, desiring exclusivity with one of their largest customers, was purchasing a specialty product outside its line, repackaging and reshipping to the end customer. The lag between order and fulfillment created a lack of confidence on the customer's part and reduced orders. After analyzing the costs, benefits, risks and opportunities, we developed a strategy and process for the company to produce the product in house. We helped the client select a centralized location, source cost effective production equipment and acquire the personnel to implement production. This resulted in our client becoming the single source provider to their customer, adding 2 million in annual revenue while improving the bottom line.
